Apex Management is seeking a part-time accountant (18-20hrs/week)
We are currently seeking a part-time accountant (approx 18-20hrs/wk) for our nonprofit and association clients. We are a long-standing organization that has achieved such a reputation through caring, personal service that is professional and reliable. Each member of our team plays an important role in maintaining that reputation. All accounts are maintained on QuickBooks.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Maintain general ledger
Monthly bank reconciliation and financial reports to our various boards of directors and staff
Maintain general liability and D&O insurance for association clients in the form of timely renewals
Work with association treasurers to maintain monthly reporting, paying of invoices and billing vendors as necessary
Prepare annual documents for 990 filing; work with auditors to ensure annual audits filed on time
Ensure Apex staff and associations are following financial policies and procedures; suggest improvements to those policies as necessary

Previous experience in nonprofit / association accounting is a must.
Strong experience in Quickbooks and experience pulling information from other databases, PayPal and other sources of revenue is a plus.
Hourly pay commensurate with experience.
